Primo, my name is Renee Cimpanelli , my father (Lou Cimpanelli) drove at Stockton with your dad in the 50's and 60's.  My brother Jim and I were at the track every Friday night, as all the other racing kids were.  In fact, I was the trophy girl at age 8 and presented the trophy to your dad... of course, I had hoped MY dad would win. I had great admiration for your father as we are also Italian and big race fans with fond memories of good old 99 Speedway.  My brother Jim noticed the article about the match race between your father and Johnny Brazil at 99 and he has the picture of your dad and Johnny standing alongside their cars before the race started. I also have a picture of the trophy presentation with Joe.  We remember the old days as I'm a little older than you.  We will email you copies of the pictures as soon as I set up my email account.  Terrific job on the site, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!
